As everyone knows, attachments are bad. Attachments consume patience & bandwidth, waste time, can become cloned & spawned ad infinitum, & are the source of so much of the infestational evil in eMail systems that operators must be free unilaterally to ignore &/or actively destroy them at all times.

I never send attachments, I put them on servers & send URLs. & those URLs are transient. So if I send you something binary as a URL, make sure you grab it right away. Its not "attached" to anything any more than I am "attached" to it. I also keep the active stuff logged over here in the Attachment Manager which helps out in a variety of odd technical contexts. In the same way, if you find it here, grab it right away.

Finally, if you *must* send me attachments, just give me some kind of warning at my real eMail address & Ill make sure the hangars clear at kevipow@yahoo.com. If they send OK try to notify me again & Ill blimp them out under cover of night.
